I have been using the pure barre app for 4 years now, and I have absolutely loved their workouts. Like does empower mean weights or HIIT? Anyways, I am in better overall health doing Barre about 4-5 x / week than I’ve ever been before. Also, the names of the workout types, like intensive and empower are confusing. I would prefer the workouts to be more organized into programs. My only criticism of pure barre is that their app isn’t the best. The workouts themselves I feel are superior to any other barre program that I’ve done (with exception of barre blend on Beachbody (but that doesn’t come out with NEW workouts like purebarre). I pretty much think every single trainer is great. You get abs and pretty much a full body workout every single time. Otherwise, the workouts weren’t hard enough for me. I first went to Barre3, which I thought was really fun and the app is really good, but every workout just has too many squats, which led to knee pain. After doing the program multiple times I was looking for something else. I originally started Barre as Barre Blend on Beachbody, which is an awesome program. I am a barre bro and could no longer do heavy weights or high impact at age 45 because of old wrestling injuries. I really look forward to Pure Barre workouts.
